The Member of Parliament for Trobu Constituency, Gloria Owusu, has raised concerns over the unexplained disappearance of Clement Ofori Addo, a man she claims was recently employed as a driver by National Democratic Congress (NDC) National Women’s Organiser, Dr. Hannah Bissiw.
Speaking in an interview on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem, the MP alleged that Mr. Addo was dismissed from his job about four days ago. Since then, none of his family members have seen or heard from him, she said.
“I want to ask Hannah Bissiw where her driver, Clement, is. At the moment, Hannah Bissiw is out of the country, and his driver is nowhere to be found. In due course, Ghanaians will hear from his family. Even if he has committed an offence, where is he?” Mrs. Owusu questioned.
The MP further drew parallels with a past incident involving former Deputy Communications Minister Victoria Hammah, whose private conversations were leaked by her driver, suggesting that the current situation may also warrant public scrutiny.
She, however, urged Mr. Addo to reach out to his family if his disappearance was voluntary.
The circumstances surrounding the driver’s disappearance remain unclear.
