The Minister of Health and Member of Parliament for Sehwi Juaboso, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, has donated 10 brand-new motorbikes and five incubators to the Juaboso District Health Directorate.
The donation forms part of his ongoing commitment to improving maternal and child health services, particularly in underserved communities within the Juaboso District in the Western North Region.
Speaking to the media after the presentation, Mr. Akandoh explained that the motorbikes are intended to enhance the outreach efforts of healthcare workers, enabling them to navigate difficult terrain and deliver timely medical services in remote villages.
The incubators, he noted, will significantly improve neonatal care and help increase the survival rate of premature and vulnerable newborns.
District Director of Health Services, Dr. Deborah Mensah, expressed deep gratitude for the gesture, noting that the equipment would have a transformative impact on healthcare delivery across the district.
