Chief Executive Officer of Bibiani GoldStars, Kwesi Adu, has urged the technical handlers of the Black Stars to consider defender Vincent Atinga for a call-up.
Atinga, a former Hearts of Oak centre-back, played a pivotal role in guiding Bibiani GoldStars to their first-ever Ghana Premier League title.
Prior to joining GoldStars, he also secured the league title with Medeama SC, making him the first player to win the Premier League with two different clubs in recent seasons.
Impressed by his consistent performances, Adu believes Atinga deserves recognition at the national level.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ultimate Sports Show, he said, “In my opinion, Vincent Atinga deserves a Black Stars call-up. He has won with the national team. He has won with Medeama, and he has done it with GoldStars.
“Not every player can do this, so I believe he must be given the chance and opportunity with the Black Stars,” he added.
Bibiani GoldStars will represent Ghana in the 2025/26 CAF Champions League following their historic league triumph.
