The Ghana Police Service has launched a manhunt for suspected thugs who stormed the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council to disrupt the Council of State election.
In a statement, the Police indicated that they are reviewing available footage to identify, arrest, and prosecute those involved.
The disruption occurred during the sorting and counting process, with the assailants destroying Electoral Commission (EC) materials and physically assaulting some journalists present.
