Some supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have stormed the Headquarters of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) following the arrest of the party’s National Communications Officer, Sammy Gyamfi, Monday morning.

Some high profile lawyers and personalities of the party have also thronged the headquarters.

According to Adom News’ Damtie Tobiah, personalities like party Chairman, Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, Mr Tony Lithur, Mrs Marietta Brew Appiah –Oppong, Edudzi Tamakloe, Mr Abraham Amaliba and Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa were present at the headquarters.

Damtie reported that these personalities, together with Mr Gyamfi, were in a closed-door meeting with the police.

Mr Gyamfi was picked up by the officials of the CID department after live-studio discussion morning show ‘Adekye Nsroma’ on UTV.
