The Speaker of Parliament has referred Assin Central Member of Parliament, Kennedy Agyapong, to the Privileges Committee of Parliament for inciting the public against undercover investigator, Ahmed Hussein-Suale.
This was after the Member of Parliament for Asawase, Muntaka Mubarak, raised the issue on the floor of Parliament.

He said his colleague was in contempt of the House for the behaviour he believes resulted in the death of the Tiger Eye PI investigator.
“I make this complaint of contempt of Parliament against my own colleague for the embarrassment and uncalled for comments and incitement of the public against a member of the public that unfortunately led to the death of the gentleman,” Hon. Muntaka stressed.

Adom FM’s Parliamentary correspondent, Abednego Asante Asiedu said the issue generated some debate between the Majority and Minority but the Speaker, Prof. Mike Ocquaye ruled on the matter and referred it to the Privileges Committee.
