Member of Parliament for Kpandai, Matthew Nyindam, says the New Patriotic Party (NPP) does not need the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) to fail in order to win the 2028 general elections.

According to him, the party’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, can secure victory by presenting Ghanaians with more convincing policies and practical solutions to the country’s challenges.

In a Facebook post on Monday, Mr. Nyindam urged the NPP to focus on offering a compelling vision to voters rather than relying on public dissatisfaction with the current administration.

“The NDC doesn’t have to FAIL Ghanaians for the NPP to win,” he stated.

He expressed confidence that Dr. Bawumia’s chances in the 2028 elections would depend on the strength of his policy proposals and the trust Ghanaians place in his leadership.

“Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will win the 2028 elections not because the NDC has failed but because he has presented better alternative policies to Ghanaians,” he said.

Mr. Nyindam ended his post with a prayer for God’s blessings on Ghana and expressed optimism about the country’s future.
