The Trade and Promotions Council of India in conjunction with the Indian High Commission in Ghana has launched the 2016 edition of the Source India Ghana Fair in Accra.

The fair which is being participated by at least fifty companies is being held at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) in Accra.

Participants are from the Food and beverage processing, Engineering, Electronic, Construction, Ceramics and Automotive industry.

Pradif Gopta from TPCI launching the three-day fair said the fair aims at creating an even playing field for business and also enhance technology transfer among the Indian companies and their Ghanaian counterparts.

The fair is from 28th February to March 2nd 2017.

He expressed the hope that the fair through technology transfer would enhance the capacities of companies in Ghana to create more employment opportunities.

Fred Adu Amoako, head of Marketing and Trade Promotions at the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Promotions assured that the Government of Ghana was in support of the fair.

He pledged that the government in future would seek to partner the TPCI for more fairs.
