Some Old Students of Mfatsipim Senior High School (SHS) were part of the tall list of dignitaries who were present at the Accra International Conference Centre to bid their late colleague, Kofi Annan, farewell.

Inside the AICC building where the former UN Secretary-General has been laid-in-state, they sang the school ode and other melodic hymns to lead Kofi to his maker.

With some of the past students clad in their school apparels, they were saddened by the demise of the school mate.

The second day of the final funeral rites for Kofi Atta Annan, former Secretary-General has commenced at the Accra International Conference Centre today.

Former ministers of state, Members of the diplomatic corps, Members of Parliament, Ministers of state, Members of the Council of State, Members of the Mfantsipim Old Boys Association, Chiefs and Queen mothers are expected to pay their last respect to the global icon.

Members of the traditional council, Chiefs and Queen mothers, the Akwamuhene and his delegation including that of Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II will also past Mr Annan’s remains.
