President Akufo-Addo has been urged not to bow to pressure and abandon plans to support the construction of a National Cathedral in the country.
According to Apostle Francis Amoako Attah, building a temple for God will be the President’s greatest legacy in Ghana’s history.
The government has come under intense pressure for its decision to evict some judges from their homes to make way for the construction of a 5,000-seater capacity cathedral.

While some have questioned the relevance of the construction of the cathedral, others are questioning the decision to use a prime area like Ridge in Accra, which is already developed.
But Amoako Attah on Adom FM’s morning show, Dwaso Nsem Friday mounted a spirited defence for President Akufo-Addo.
“Eighty percent of Ghanaians are Christians, therefore, it is not out of place to build a National Cathedral. I will urge Nana Akufo-Addo not to change his mind,” he stated.

The Founder and leader of the Lord’s Parliament Chapel International (former Freedom Chapel International), said the construction of such a Cathedral is timely because it will serve as a spiritual powerhouse to deliver Ghana from the forces of darkness.
Apostle Amoako Attah added that President Akufo-Addo is fulfilling a spiritual direction thus should be allowed to support the clergy build the temple for God.
Renowned end-time preacher, Rev Gabriel Ansah said he also supports the building of the national cathedral.

He explained that “we wrestle not against flesh and blood thus committing Ghana to God is the right thing to do”.
Rev. Gabriel Ansah sympathized with the affected judges but said God must be given His due.
