National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament for Bia East Constituency, Richard Acheampong is of the view that the Ashanti Regional Secretary of the party, Kwame Zu must take responsibility for his own actions over the comments he made against Okyenhene Amoatia Ofori Panyin II.
According to him, “Kwame Zu is more than 18 years and responsible for his own actions and inaction. He did not say those things on behalf of the party or on the party’s platform or programme.”

Speaking on Adom TV’s Badwam show, Mr Acheampong said Okyeman must not involve NDC as a party in the matter.

“The person has admitted he was wrong and has written a statement of apology for publication in the media but if they won’t accept that and want to summon him, fair enough but not the party,” he added.
