Two of the seven suspects arraigned before a Kaneshie court on Monday in connection with the murder of two cops at Kasoa Buduburam broke down in tears on the court premises.

The suspects cried as part of their attempts to explain their innocence to a man who stood by their vehicle.

The suspects who claim to have been wrongfully arrested were heard telling the man in the shot that they knew nothing about the killing of the cops.

The key suspect in the killing, Eric Kojo Duah, together with six other suspects, was officially charged by the state at a Kaneshie District court with murder, conspiracy to commit murder, abetment to commit murder and murder.

The suspects identified as Eric Kojo Duah, the prime suspect, Isaac Mensah, Ibrahim Zakaria, Oblitey Kommey, Victor Iray and Fatau Ahmed made their first appearance in court on Monday with the case adjourned to September 26, 2019.
