Founder of Big Ben Music Production, Benjamin Mensah, has revealed that Shatta Wale has become successful because he incorporates appropriate musical elements into his songs.

In Big Ben’s opinion, Shatta Wale, born Charles Nii Armah Mensah, is successful because he is cautious of his content, instrumentals and most importantly his hook and chorus.

According to the music producer, “If the chorus is bad the audience will not listen. They first want to know how the chorus sounds like, followed by instrumentation then the rest of the content.”

Speaking on Adom FM’s Entertainment Hall of fame, he also ascribed Shatta’s success to his promotion of local dialects in his music as well as his diligence.
