Mark Okraku Mantey, President of the Creative Arts Council

President of the Creative Arts Council, Mark Okraku Mantey, is of the view that Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy have equally dented their music brands as a result of the fracas that ensued at the just-ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).

Mr Mantey said he feels sorry for the duo because the brawl that led to Stonebwoy pulling a gun will forever be attached to their persona, adding that Stonebwoy’s brand will suffer more since he has many international appeals in the music industry.

“I fear for the two artistes should the court case stretch to next year, especially, Stonebwoy who has built an international appeal. We wanted to bring Buju here but the telcos aren’t happy because of his prison record. His international appeal will begin to deplete. It’s gonna disturb their brands,” Mr Mantey said.
