The Western Central Regional Police Command has arrested two people for allegedly stabbing to death a 20-year-old man in Asankragwa on Sunday, August 17.
The suspects have been identified as 36-year-old Kwasi Opong and 23-year-old William Francis Osei.
They are currently in police custody assisting with the ongoing investigation.
In a statement, the police said preliminary investigations suggest that a group, including the two suspects, pursued the victim before allegedly stabbing him multiple times.
The attack is believed to have been triggered by an earlier misunderstanding involving Kwasi Opong.

Police are also on a manhunt for a third suspect who is currently on the run.
The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Asankrangwa Catholic Hospital morgue for preservation and autopsy.
Meanwhile, the Police Command has assured the public that all persons involved in what it described as a “heinous crime” will face the full rigours of the law.
It also appealed to the public to provide any information that may assist in the investigation, urging them to contact the Asankragwa Police.
