The father of Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey, Jacob Teye Partey, has died.
Jacob Teye Partey reportedly passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2026.
Thomas Partey, who plays for Saudi Pro League club Al Shabab, has yet to publicly comment on his father’s death.
The 33-year-old midfielder has enjoyed a distinguished career at club level and remains an important member of the Ghana national team.
Funeral and burial arrangements have not yet been announced by the family.
