Players of visiting side, Tema Youth were robbed of their valuables during their outstanding League game against Bechem United on Wednesday.
The robbers broke into the dressing room of the away side at the Bechem Park and made away with five mobile phones and some amount of monies.
After losing by a lone goal, officials and players of Tema Youth were amazed upon returning to the dressing room to find out their belongings had been taking away by thieves.
“It is amazing. After been a victim of bad officiating, we get robbed in the dressing room as well,” Tema Youth Manager, Winfred Osei Palmer said.
“Five players lost their mobile phones, many lost their monies and about four lost their boots. But some of the boots were found around the dressing room later,” he added.
Tema Youth will quickly put this unpleasant incident behind them as they head to Sogakope to honor their next League game against WAFA on Sunday.
