He made the appeal in an interview with Adom News during the 30th anniversary of the Goaso Victory Centre Assemblies of God Church.

According to him, politics that promote division hinder the country’s development and must be resisted.

Meanwhile, the head pastor of Victory Centre Assemblies of God Church, Rev. Dr. Johnson Nuako Nyametumi, urged Ghanaians to support the new leaders of the country in their respective roles to accelerate national development.

Speaking at the Easter Convention by the church of Pentecost at Gomoa Buduburam, Dr Alhaji Bawumia called on Ghanaians to be united before and after the elections.

In an interview with Adom News, Dr Bawumia appealed to Ghanaians to use the spirit of Easter to confront the pressing challenges confronting our nation.

He also called on all Ghanaians to make this election year a testament to our commitment to democracy, peace, and progress.
