It would be the first time a La Liga match has been played in the United States.

Fifa, football’s world governing body, will make the final decision on the proposal.

The match is currently scheduled for 22 December, before La Liga pauses for its winter break.

Both Atletico and Barcelona are scheduled to play in a four-team Spanish Super Cup in early January, which is being held in Saudi Arabia.

In April, Fifa withdrew from a legal challenge by leading match promoter Relevent, which is seeking to stage overseas league matches in the United States.

The following month, Fifa announced it was setting up a working group to look at the potential impact of competitive domestic matches being played abroad.​​​​​​​

La Liga president Javier Tebas has spoken of his desire to take La Liga games to other countries.

Barcelona planned to stage a league match against Girona in Miami in January 2019, but the idea was scrapped in the face of opposition from Spain’s football association and its players’ union.

League sources say there is still work to do on the plan but they are hopeful of receiving approval to proceed.

The Premier League has previously said it has no plans to play games overseas.

At the recently held Afro-Punk Festival which took place in Miami, the ‘Therapy’ hitmaker who got signed onto DefJam Recordings, was captured with Constantine Brooks, better known by his stage name Mavado.

It is unclear if the two music stars will team up on a music project soon but with Stonebwoy’s history and prowess, his ‘Bhimnative’ fans are anticipating a record.

He also wore matching silver socks and silver slides as he arrived at the event, which was held at Miami Marine Stadium on Sunday afternoon at the final day of Art Basel.

The tweet also included a bible verse Luke 1:30-31, which read, ‘And the angel said unto her, fear not, Mary: For thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shallt call his name Jesus.’

Mary is his second opera, following his debut Nebuchadnezzar, which earned several rave reviews. 

West served as the narrator of Nebuchadnezzar, Sheck Wes, the titular Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar, which featured musical performances by singer Peter Collins and Infinity’s Song. 

West also made headlines last week when it was revealed he will join will join televangelist Joel Osteen as part of his annual Night of Hope at Yankee Stadium in 2020.

Last Thursday afternoon, TMZ reported that West is teaming up with televangelist Joel Osteen yet again, as part of his multi-city tour known as America’s Night of Hope.

The event will take place at the iconic Yankee Stadium on May 2, 2020, giving Ye and Osteen an even bigger audience.
