“It’s a woman’s time,” she declared, expressing her confidence in bringing change.

Speaking on Asempa FM’s #Ekosiisen constituency watch series, Mrs. Asamoah said the December elections will bring a shift in leadership.

“I believe 2024 is going to bring change. The NPP was given a chance, but this time, the people are ready to give it to a woman” she said.

Mrs. Asamoah criticized the current state of development in the constituency.

Having served as a branch Secretary and being actively involved in the party for a long time, the NDC PC believes she is well-prepared to take on the role of an MP.

“I have what we call Obaatampa projects that support the aged and everyone in the constituency. When it comes to education, I will help students get placements in schools,”

She also stressed her commitment to lobby for developmental projects if elected as MP.

“I will do more when I become the MP,” she stated confidently.

Mrs. Asamoah therefore urged the people to vote massively for her in the December polls.

“When voted into power, I will definitely make things change for the better,” she assured.

Ekosiisen Constituency Watch: Majority of NDC members will vote for me any day – Atwima Kwanwoma MP https://www.adomonline.com/ekosiisen-constituency-watch-majority-of-ndc-members-will-vote-for-me-any-day-atwima-kwanwoma-mp/ Fri, 26 Jul 2024 19:48:39 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2426424 The New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for the Atwima Kwanwoma constituency, Kofi Amankwah Manu, is confident majority of National Democratic Congress (NDC) supporters will vote for him.

Speaking on Asempa FM’s #Ekosiisen constituency watch series, Mr. Manu, who is also the Deputy Defence Minister and current MP, stressed his commitment to development.

“As an MP, I don’t discriminate. I help everyone,” he said.

He noted that, his efforts have been recognized by both parties, with even the NDC campaigning for him.

“I know what I am talking about,” he said, indicating his broad support base.

Mr. Manu reflected on his long journey and expressed confidence in his track record.

“It took me about 12 years in the wilderness before reaching where I am now, and I don’t take anyone for granted. My records are there for everyone to see. It’s not about whether you are a man or a woman; it’s about development” he said.

He also disclosed specific achievements, including improvements in toilet facilities and water systems in the constituency.

“I have shared my Common Fund across every electoral area for development,”

The NPP MP promised further initiatives, including distributing free fertilizer to farmers.

“I will continue to work for the people and ensure they have the tools they need,” he stated.

He contrasted the NPP’s achievements with those of the NDC.

“The NPP has done more social interventions than the NDC. That’s why they should vote for us to continue our good work. The NDC don’t know what to do and won’t do anything for the people. Vote for the NPP to keep up the progress” he added.

Ekosiisen Constituency Watch: I have my footprints here – Anyaa Sowutuom NPP PC [Listen] https://www.adomonline.com/ekosiisen-constituency-watch-i-have-my-footprints-here-anyaa-sowutuom-npp-pc-listen/ Fri, 12 Jul 2024 19:04:58 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2421517 The New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for Anyaa Sowutuom in the Greater Accra Region, Elder Emmanuel Tobin, says he has the magic wand to accelerate the development of the constituency.

Speaking on Asempa FM’s #Ekosiisenconstituencywatch series, he indicated that, his expertise in lobbying will be crucial for the constituency’s progress.

“Lobbying is a skill; it doesn’t come on a silver platter. It’s not everybody who knows how to lobby. I am in a better position to lobby for Anyaa Sowutuom than anybody else,” he remarked.

Elder Tobin assured that, he will work to ensure Anyaa Sowutuom receives its fair share of national resources.

“I will lobby so that Anyaa Sowutuom gets a fair share of the national cake. I will not go to Parliament just to argue and do ‘yeh yeh’ and come home. I will make the welfare of the people my priority,” he added.

Elder Tobin highlighted the visible developments in Anyaa Sowutuom under the NPP government and challenged others to show their contributions.

He also mentioned his personal contributions to the development of the constituency.

“I have my footprints in Anyaa. I have built two classroom blocks with my own personal money at Odorgono school” he stated.

Having served the community for the past 30 years, Elder Tobin believes he is well-equipped to move the constituency forward.

He, therefore, urged the constituents not to pay attention to the NDC, which did nothing when in power.

“Come and tell us your 12 years of being in government and what you did for this constituency,” he charged.

Speaking on his vision, Elder Tobin said he will invest in the human capital in the community.

“Even without being an MP, I have employed over 300 people here in this constituency and have done a lot in the constituency, and it’s not a secret. We are willing to employ more people in the constituency to get jobs when I am voted to be an MP.”
