Former Ghana skipper Stephen Appiah will be part of the new faces introduced when the new Black Stars coach is appointed.

The now retired footballer has been linked with the job for the last four years but has been consistently over looked with Sabahn Quaye being preferred.

But in a move geared towards rebuilding and reinstating the confidence of the people of Ghana in the team, Appiah will be one of the master stroke to ginger up the team.

According to a report by GHANAsportsonline.com all is in place to get all the experienced former players to come in and reposition the Black Stars as one of the best teams on the African continent.

Appaih will be given the team manager role with added responsibilities of adding technical knowledge.

Ghana has gone 32-years without an Africa Cup of Nations trophy and could extend to 35 if things are not well arranged.
