Spokesperson of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Ibrahim Saani Daara has heaped on female Nationals teams in Ghana for their excellent performances so far.
Speaking on Asempa FM, the Deputy General Secretary of the GFA commended the Black Princesses and Black Maidens who have qualified for the 2018 world cup in their various age categories.
“We all need to commend the management of our female national teams for a good job done, just two months into the year. The Princesses and Maidens will represent Ghana in France and Uruguay respectively and the mode is remarkable”, Saanie said.
Saanie Daara also mentioned the Black Queens who are now in the semifinals of the ongoing WAFU ZONE B women’s championship, saying it is admirable, especially when this is the maiden edition of the tournament.
“The Queens have been excellent in Ivory Coast too after losing their first game and bouncing back to qualify for the semis. We must also thank the Ministry of Youth and Sports for their support”, he added.
