Veteran highlife musician, Rex Omar says he will release his new single dubbed “Onipa” on August 30, 2018, as part of his “Highlife Agenda” project which started April this year.
The Abiba hitmaker earlier promised to release one single every month continuously for the next 3 years with the aim of reviving and redefining the Highlife genre.

Rex, who has been very occupied due to his nationwide media tour, has been educating his fans and the general public on the genesis and what the Highlife genre really entails.
He has so far dropped 4 songs of authentic highlife and Afrocentric tracks which includes his “Nhyira” featuring Trigmatic, “Paapa reloaded”, “Hilife Agogo” and “Why Where Who”.

All of the aforementioned tracks will be on his upcoming album dubbed: “Restoration” which features Samini, Okyeame Kwame, M.anifest, Sarkodie among others.
