The Civil and Local Government Staff Association, Ghana, (CLOGSAG), has honoured Diana Daakuwaa Boateng, one of the three persons who rejected a bribe from undercover reporters in the Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ ‘Number 12’ expose on the rots in football.

Mrs Boateng, Head of the Ministry of Sports Protocol on Tuesday was honoured with the 2019 ‘Nathan Annan Quao’ Integrity Award by CLOGSAG.

The awards scheme forms part of a neutrality project established and launched by CLOGSAG to sensitise their constituents to give off unblemished service devoid of political colour and nepotism.

The ‘Number 12’ documentary, titled ‘Betraying the Game’ by Anas Aremeyaw Anas investigated football in Africa and sought to highlight the level of corruption in football and among football administrators in Ghana and Africa.

The documentary also showed three individuals who rejected the bribes that were offered.

They were GFA Executive Committee members Kweku Eyiah and John Frederick Mensah and Chief Protocol Officer at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Diana Boateng.
