An Accra-bound train from Nsawam has derailed at the Tesano Railway Monday morning.
It is unclear how many people were in the train, but two persons are said to have been injured.
The injured persons according to an account by an eyewitness, were assisted out of the train by some police recruits from the Tesano Police Training School who were on their normal training routine.
No casualties have been reported.
The police are on the scene to keep the situation under control.
The injured have been sent to an unnamed hospital.
