Ghanaian Hip Hop rapper, Kwaw Kesse has slammed the Musicians Union of Ghana, (MUSIGHA) for failing to invite musicians to the 2017 MUSIGA Presidential Grand Ball which happened at the State Banquette Hall on December 29.
According to the musician, he couldn’t fathom why MUSIGHA would throw a Presidential ball in honour of musicians and refuse to officially invite famed musicians to the event.
Feeling vexed about the gesture, he tagged the organization led by Bice Osei Kufuor popularly known as Obour as ‘the most corrupt institution in Ghana’.
Kwaw Kesse born as Emmanuel Botchwey said in a tweet, “How can you have musicians’ Grand Ball and not invite musicians?…”
He further expressed distress over the president’s presence at the award ceremony he thinks was organized by ‘thieves’.
Musicians who performed at the MUSIGA Grand Ball included Daddy Lumba, Nana Kwame Ampadu, A.B Crentsil, Freddy Meiwey, Becca and many others.
