One fuel tanker has been completely burnt, while another sustained partial damage after a fire swept through the Kaase Angola Tanker Yard in Kumasi on Saturday, October 10, 2026.
The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) said the incident occurred opposite Latex Foam Company, prompting firefighters to deploy three fire pumps to contain the blaze.
The tanker with registration number AS-1121-10 was completely destroyed by the fire, while the second tanker, registered GT-5022-B, suffered partial damage.
Firefighters brought the blaze under control at 8:04 p.m. and fully extinguished it at 8:36 p.m.
No casualties were recorded in the incident, while the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
