Former Nigerian President, Olesegun Obasanjo was among a list of high powered former heads of states and other high profile persons who graced the three-day retreat of President Akufo-Addo and his ministers.

Information Minister, Muspha Hamid said the former Nigerian leader offered his experience in governance and public policy making to the ministers and their deputies at the retreat.

“We had several persons coming to the retreat to address us and tell us what made them succeed or fail during their administrations and that included Nigerian President, Obasajo and many high profile persons,” he said.

President Akufo-Addo and his ministers held a three-day retreat at the Peduasi Lodge to reflect over the first three months of their stewardship.

The Ministers also presented their visions and programmes for the various ministries they are heading.

Issues discussed at the retreat included how to implement their various manifesto promises.

Ministers also submitted their plans and policies for their ministries for the year.
