The Nsoromma Season 8 grand finale delivered another unforgettable musical moment as Highlife star Adane Best teamed up with Safowaa to perform the timeless classic “Sisi Maame”, popularly known as “Pene So.”
Originally produced by Slip Music and released around 2003, the song remains one of Ghana’s most beloved Highlife hits. More than two decades later, Adane Best and Safowaa proved that good music never loses its charm.
The duo’s chemistry on stage captivated the audience from the very first note as they came with fresh energy in a performance that had patrons singing every lyric word for word.
Although the song was recorded many years ago, the performance felt remarkably fresh. Their vocals complemented each other effortlessly, while the live instrumentation recreated the warmth and authenticity that made the original recording an instant favourite.
Safowaa’s rendition coupled with Adane Best’s ever soothing voice transported the audiences back to the magic that made “Sisi Maame” a Highlife anthem.
