The outgoing New Patriotic Party (NPP) Chairman for Nkwanta South, Samuel Larry Yaw, has called on delegates in the constituency to vote for a competent and capable leader to steer the party toward victory in the 2028 general elections.
According to him, the decisions taken at the constituency level will play a critical role in rebuilding the party’s strength and improving its chances in the next national contest.
He stressed that, as the party prepares for 2028, Nkwanta South requires leaders who are committed, strategic, and hardworking—individuals who can mobilise supporters, encourage unity, and energise members to actively campaign for the party.
In an interview with Adom News, Mr. Samuel Larry urged delegates to make their choices based on merit and performance, rather than allowing tribal or religious considerations to influence the outcome.
He encouraged delegates to focus on the broader goal of strengthening the party’s structures and selecting leaders who can effectively engage communities and inspire confidence among party faithful.
He further argued that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration has already disappointed Ghanaians, making it even more important for the NPP to position itself with strong constituency leadership capable of working diligently toward regaining power.
In his view, electing credible officers across the various positions will help consolidate the party’s base and improve internal coordination ahead of the next elections.
Samuel Larry concluded by appealing to delegates to vote responsibly and choose leaders who can bring renewed direction and purpose to the NPP in Nkwanta South, with the ultimate aim of securing victory in 2028.
