The National Identification Authority (NIA) has announced the fees and charges for services provided at its 24-hour Prestige Registration Centre.
The centre operates seven days a week, including weekends, and offers a premium fee-based service for individuals who prefer greater convenience and faster access to NIA services.
According to the NIA, the approved fee for first-time registration at the centre is GH¢610, while card replacement attracts a fee of GH¢720.
Customers seeking to update their records and replace their cards will pay GH¢655. A nationality record update also costs GH¢655.
Card renewal has been priced at GH¢610, while customers who require only a record update without card replacement will pay GH¢400.
The NIA said the charges have been approved by Parliament and apply to services offered at the Prestige Registration Centre.
The centre’s 24-hour operation is intended to provide greater flexibility for individuals who may prefer to access NIA services outside regular working hours.
The Authority says the initiative forms part of its efforts to provide convenient and efficient services to the public.
