The National Democratic Congress (NDC) says it will open nominations for its 2026 National Executive Elections on Tuesday, October 20, with the process closing at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21.
In a statement dated Friday, October 16, and signed by Deputy General Secretary Barbara Serwaa Asamoah, the party said nominations would open at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, in accordance with its electoral timetable issued on August 5, 2026.
The party has urged members interested in contesting the various national executive positions to submit their nominations within the two-day window.
It also announced that payments for nomination forms and filing fees must be made exclusively through its online portal, forms.ghanandc.com, using Mobile Money on any network or Visa and Mastercard.
The NDC cautioned aspirants against making payments through banks or bank drafts, saying such payments would not be accepted.
The party further stated that all aspirants, proposers, seconders and endorsers must be members in good standing and have fully paid their membership dues to participate in the process.
Members with outstanding dues have been directed to settle their arrears using the USSD code *920*25# or through the party’s website, ndc.org.gh/dues.
The statement urged all aspirants and party members to maintain discipline, decorum and respect for the NDC’s democratic values throughout the electoral process.
It added that the party was counting on the cooperation of members to ensure a transparent, peaceful and orderly election.
