President of Medeama SC, Moses Armah, has reaffirmed the club’s commitment to providing head coach Ibrahim Tanko with the resources and support needed to ensure a successful CAF Champions League campaign.
The Yellow and Mauve will represent Ghana in CAF’s premier club competition after winning the Ghana Premier League last season.
Speaking ahead of the club’s preparations for the continental competition, Mr Armah said management is determined to strengthen the squad and create the right environment for the technical team to compete at the highest level.
He noted that the club’s ambition is not only to represent Ghana with pride but also to make a significant impact in the tournament.
According to him, management will work closely with the coaching staff to address the team’s needs, including player recruitment and logistical support.
“We are committed to equipping the head coach [Ibrahim Tanko] with everything necessary to build a competitive team. Our goal is to have a successful CAF Champions League campaign and make our supporters proud,” he said.
Medeama will be aiming to improve on their previous performances in continental football as they prepare to face some of Africa’s top clubs.
The club believes that with thorough preparations, quality additions to the squad, and the backing of management and supporters, it can compete strongly on the continental stage.
