The Volta Regional Police Command has revealed that the suspect in the death of a resident of Dzolo-Kpuita in the Ho West District of the Volta Region has turned himself in.
Some irate youth on Wednesday stormed the Ho District Assembly office, in protest of the killing of a resident identified as Wisdom Dake who was allegedly run over and killed by the outfit’s official vehicle.
Speaking in a radio interview on the issue, the Public Relations Officer of the Volta Regional Police Command, Cpl Prince Dogbatse said the main suspect in the case was in police custody after voluntarily turning himself in.

“Thankfully enough, the one who was responsible for this incident has actually reported himself to the police and is currently assisting us in our investigations,” he said.
Cpl Dogbatse added that the police were working to come out with a comprehensive report on the incident due to conflicting accounts.
“There are bits and pieces of information out there but we need to refine it to give credible information to the public,” he assured.
