President of Groupe Nduom, and 2016 Flag bearer of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP), Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom, has urged Ghanaians to recognize and patronize ‘Made In Ghana’ goods as a respective gesture to promote the standard of living of people in the country.

May Day – or ‘Labour Day’ – is observed all over the world on the first day of May to celebrate the economic and social achievements of workers and fight for labourers’ rights.

Through his Facebook post, the Ghanaian entrepreneur and politician, Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom said at least 40 per cent of major infrastructure contracts must go to indigenous companies.

With taxes, he stressed, the government must utilize the mandate to set a competitive edge to local goods and services.

  1. We can only empower our local con paties and entrepreneurs when government channels it purchasing power to buying made in Ghana goods. I have for example tasted the Nduom rice and is better than the known foreign rice imported into Ghana. Let’s build wealth by purchasing made in Ghana goods. Good insight Dr Nduom.
