President John Dramani Mahama is heading to the Upper West Region as he continues his nationwide Resetting Ghana Tour, aimed at engaging citizens and assessing development priorities across the country.
The President’s two-day visit is scheduled for Friday, September 11, and Saturday, September 12, during which he is expected to meet residents, traditional leaders, local authorities and other stakeholders.
The Upper West leg forms part of the government’s broader effort to take its reset agenda directly to the regions and give citizens an opportunity to engage with the administration on its policies and programmes.
President Mahama is expected to highlight government initiatives and ongoing efforts to address development challenges in the region.
The engagements will also provide an opportunity for residents and stakeholders to raise concerns about issues affecting their communities and put them directly before the President and relevant government officials.
The Resetting Ghana Tour is part of President Mahama’s broader nationwide engagements designed to strengthen interaction between the government and citizens while gathering feedback on the implementation of its development agenda.
