The government has submitted its annual report on staffing at the Office of the President to Parliament, revealing that a total of 808 personnel were serving at the Presidency as of December 31, 2025.
According to the report, presented in accordance with Section 11 of the Presidential Office Act, 1993 (Act 463), the workforce comprises 233 political appointees and 575 civil servants and other public officers assigned to the Presidency.
Covering the period from January 1 to December 31, 2025, the report provides a detailed breakdown of personnel at the Office of the President, including their ranks, grades, positions and staff seconded from other public institutions.
The submission forms part of the Presidency’s statutory obligation to account annually to Parliament on the structure and composition of its workforce.
The report, which includes the names, designations and grades of personnel serving at the Presidency, has been laid before Parliament for scrutiny and record purposes.
