Mahama recommends nomination of 7 Justices to Supreme Court

President John Mahama has recommended the nomination of seven Court of Appeal justices to the Supreme Court bench.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the President, Dr. Callistus Mahama, dated April 29, 2025.

The nominees are; Justice Sir Dennis Dominic Adjei, Justice Gbiel Simon Suurbaareh, Justice Senyo Dzamefe, Justice Kweku Tawiah Ackaah-Boafo, Justice Philip Bright Mensah,  Justice Janapare Bartels-Kodwo and Justice Hafisata Amaleboba.

The nominees are expected to be considered by the Judicial Council and subsequently proceed to Parliament for approval.
