Some residents in Abuja, Nigeria have been captured in video stealing bags of rice from a moving truck as their lockdown period enters day 16.
The truck, which was believed to be on its way to deliver the bags of rice somewhere while in traffic, saw residents climb the back to offload the bags of rice.
A witness, believed to have recorded the video posted on Instagram, was heard shouting “they are stealing rice in broad day light.”

This comes after President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday extended the country’s lockdown period by two weeks.
Meanwhile, Nigeria has recorded over 300 cases of the coronavirus disease with 10 deaths recorded and over 60 recoveries.
