People who haven’t had the opportunity to travel abroad in search of greener pastures might disagree with Ghanaian Highlife legend, Nana Acheampong over his assertion that life is more enjoyable in Ghana than abroad.
In Ghana, the perception locals have is that family members, friends, and relatives living outside the country especially in Europe and America are making it big in life.
But in an interview with Ohemaa Woyeje on Adom FM’s ‘Work and Happiness’ on Thursday, the ‘Obaatan’ hitmaker said, living in Ghana is far better than living abroad.
The international artiste with over 25 albums, Nana Acheampong confessed that ‘if not for my music tour, I won’t be traveling much as I do.’
Asked if the music business is more lucrative compared to his prime time, he said, “the music business has been rough’, but regardless he will continue to pursue his career.
“I don’t think I will ever stop the music business. I play more in Europe. We have been in the industry for long…” he maintained.
Nana Acheampong thanked God for his life and for blessing him with a sensational voice.
