Rapper Kwesi Arthur has announced the postponement of his scheduled North American tour dates after doctors advised him that continuing with the shows at this time could pose risks to his health.
In a message to his fans, the rapper said he had been dealing with a health issue for some time and had made the difficult decision to put his recovery first.
He explained that the decision affects his upcoming performances in Boston, New York, Washington DC and Atlanta, which will be rescheduled.
Kwesi Arthur, however, confirmed that his London show will proceed as planned, as he expressed excitement about performing for his fans there.
The rapper apologised to fans who were looking forward to the North American dates, assuring them that new dates are already being arranged and existing tickets will remain valid once the new schedule is announced.
He thanked his supporters for their patience and encouragement, promising to return with a full-strength performance worthy of their support.
The announcement comes after a major year for the rapper, who said his fans made his “Redemption Valley” journey one to remember.
