Ghanaian rapper and singer Kwesi Arthur has postponed the North American leg of his Redemption Valley tour after revealing he is battling a health condition that has forced him to prioritize his recovery.

In a heartfelt message shared with fans, the award-winning musician said the decision came on the advice of his doctors, who warned that continuing with the tour at this time would be “reckless and dangerous” to his health.

“For a while now I’ve been dealing with a health issue, and despite my best efforts, my doctors have told me that moving forward with the tour right now would be reckless and dangerous to my health,” he wrote.

As a result, the North American shows scheduled for Boston, New York City, Washington, D.C., and Atlanta have been postponed.

However, Kwesi Arthur assured fans that his London performance will go ahead as planned, adding that he is looking forward to meeting them there.

The rapper expressed gratitude to supporters for making Redemption Valley a memorable project and acknowledged that postponing the tour was a difficult decision.

“This wasn’t easy, but I owe it to you, and to myself, to come back and give you the show you deserve, at full strength,” he stated.

Kwesi Arthur also disclosed that new dates for the North American shows are already being arranged. He confirmed that all existing tickets will remain valid once the rescheduled dates are announced, while refund details will be communicated for patrons who may require them.

He ended his message by thanking fans for their patience and unwavering support during the challenging period, promising to return stronger and see them soon.
