An Accra Hearts of Oak Midfielder Winful Kobina has accused referee Dailly Gaba of being bias in the draw game between premiere league rivals Kotoko and Hearts of Oak.
Kotoko fought back from a goal down to earn a point from the highly competitive clash played at the Baba Yara stadium on Sunday.
But the ‘broken hearted’ midfielder who was hopeful of a Hearts of Oak win expressed his disappointment in the officiating by referee Gaba.
“We didn’t lose concentration, stamina or anything. When they (Kotoko) equalized, they were on top of us and I can say the referee was also with them. I will say it without thinking twice. You could see the penalty, which wasn’t a penalty. He made his mind to help Kotoko get a point and it’s not good for Ghana football. If you are officiating you have to be fair to everyone. He shouldn’t be doing that.” He busted out
Meanwhile, Kobina admits the game was a tough one and his team was lucky to have attained a point.
‘It was a tough game. Playing away from home, I think we did well. We deserved a point. We were able to score the first goal but unlucky to concede such a penalty. Thanks be to God there were no injuries in camp” he said
