Technical Director of premier league side Inter Allies, Willie Klutse, has revealed the Management of Kumasi Asante Kotoko hasn’t made any enquiries about their striker, Victorien Adebayor.

He, however, revealed that a fan of Asante Kotoko has made enquiries on the player.

Inter Allies lost 3-0 in a friendly game at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday but fans were impressed with the performance of the Nigerien import after he aided his side to beat Hearts of Oak last month in the Phobian’s anniversary cup match.

Mr Klutse has, therefore, laid to rest, the rumour that Hearts and Kotoko have both expressed interest in the prolific attacker.

“Management of both Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak have not contacted us. Instead, it is Alhaji Abu Lamin who is a former management member and a stout fan of Asante Kotoko who called me yesterday after the game to ask for the price tag on the player”, he said

Speaking on the Ultimate Sports Show, Willie Klutse added that as management of Inter Allies, they want the best for their players thus will sell Victorien Adebayor if Asante Kotoko can meet the asking price and other conditions of the player.

“We are here to help the players so we are ready to sell if Asante Kotoko or any club can meet the selling price and also the conditions of Adebayor. It is very expensive to maintain him and we need to make sure he lives well wherever he goes. He is a professional and needs to be treated well”.

He, however, hinted that any local club interested in the Inter Allies priced asset must be fast about it since clubs from Russia are already showing interest in the player and monitoring him.
