Ghanaian actress and media personality Joselyn Dumas has called on Ghanaians to complement government efforts in responding to the aftermath of Monday’s heavy downpour, stressing that citizens also have a vital role to play.

Reacting to the flooding on social media, Joselyn Dumas wrote:

“Well, the government will do their best to help in this situation. But we ‘the citizens’ have much more to do than the government I hope we know that?

Her remarks come as parts of Accra continue to recover from widespread flooding caused by Monday’s torrential rains, with authorities and emergency responders working to assist affected residents.

Joselyn’s message encouraged the public to remain safety-conscious and take personal responsibility while recovery efforts continue.
