Amenfi Central Member of Parliament, Joana Gyan Cudjoe, has ended her seven-year professional relationship with music duo Keche Global.
The partnership, which began in 2019, saw the MP serve as the group’s investor, manager and executive producer.
In a statement issued on Monday, August 31, 2026, through GEM Multimedia Ghana Ltd, Ms Gyan Cudjoe said the agreement had expired and she had decided not to renew or extend it.
She said Keche Global would now operate independently without her financial, managerial or business support.
According to the MP, the decision was made purely on professional grounds and reached “with peace, humility, kindness, love and respect.”
She stressed that the separation was not the result of any disagreement, hatred or controversy.
Reflecting on their seven-year partnership, Ms Gyan Cudjoe said she made significant investments in the duo’s career, supporting music production, video projects, marketing, branding, artist development, travel, performances and other creative ventures.
She also disclosed that she rebranded the group from Keche to Keche Global as part of efforts to expand its presence and appeal beyond Ghana.
Despite the end of their professional relationship, the MP said her personal and family ties with the duo remain unchanged.
Keche Andrew, whose real name is Andrew Kofi Cudjoe, is her husband, while Joshua Kojo Ampah is the second member of the duo.
“KECHE WILL ALWAYS BE FAMILY,” the statement said, as Ms Gyan Cudjoe wished the group success in its new chapter.
She said her attention would now shift towards nurturing emerging talents and pursuing new music projects, investments and other creative opportunities through GEM Multimedia Ghana Ltd.
