Former Energy Minister and New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Chairmanship aspirant, Boakye Kyeremateng Agyarko, has pledged to unite the party and bring back disgruntled members if elected National Chairman.
According to him, the NPP needs reconciliation and a renewed sense of unity to rebuild its strength and position itself for victory in the 2028 general elections.
Speaking to the media during his tour of some constituencies in the Eastern Region, Mr Agyarko appealed to party members to put aside their differences and place the interests of the NPP above individual grievances.
He said he would serve as a “bridge” for aggrieved and disgruntled members who have left or distanced themselves from the party to return and contribute to its rebuilding.
Mr Agyarko stressed that unity, reconciliation and inclusive leadership would be central to his administration if elected National Chairman.
He said the party must heal internal divisions, strengthen its structures and bring all members together to confront the political challenges ahead.
Mr Agyarko therefore appealed to NPP delegates across the country to elect him as National Chairman, arguing that his experience, competence and leadership skills make him capable of uniting the party and positioning it for victory in 2028.
