Dancehall artiste, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr known in showbiz as Shatta Wale has revealed he is a staunch supporter of Division One side, Okwahu United.
The self-acclaimed Dancehall King speaking on Asempa FM/Multi TV’s award winning sports show, Fire for Fire said, he has been a longtime supporter of the Nkawkaw-based club.
He said he has been supporting the club since his days at Accra Academy where he was also a footballer.
Shatta Wale noted that, his interest in football however dipped during the second year causing him to start playing basketball.
He wished the Black Stars well in their crucial encounter with Egypt and urged Ghanaians to support and make the other sporting disciplines attractive.
