Controversial sports journalist, Patrick Osei Agyeman popularly known as Countryman Songo, says he has never been hit by the death of any musician like that of the sudden demise of the talented dancehall artiste, Ebony Reigns.

Speaking at an event to commemorate one week of Ebony’s passing, Countryman Songo likened the ‘Maame Hwe’ hit maker to Bob Marley and some other great musicians of the past.

Ebony to be buried on March 17
“Ebony’s talent is like Bob Marley, Culture, Michael Jackson and the likes. She is just talented and no one can be like my baby girl. She is so nice and I will forever miss her”, Songo told adomonline.com.

Ebony, born Priscilla Opuku Kwarteng died on-the-spot with two others in a fatal accident which occurred on Thursday, 8th February at Mankranso on the Sunyani-Kumasi highway.
She had been to Sunyani to visit her mother who had come from abroad when the unfortunate incident occurred.

On Sunday, February 18, 2018, thousands thronged St. Martin De Porres School at Dansoman, Accra to join her family observe one week of her passing.

The family has announced that she will be buried on March 17, 2018. Venue for her funeral is however yet to be communicated to the public.
