General Overseer of the Glorious Way Chapel, Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah has warned the Ghana Football Association (GFA) not to take a prophecy by a Christian prophet, predicting a fatal plane crash for the senior national team the Black Stars for granted.

According to him, the prediction by Pastor Reindolph Oduro Gyebi, who is the General Overseer of God’s Crown Chapel in Kumasi is a prove that his predictions about the Black Stars sometime last year was not an illusion.

“Why are Ghanaians so quick to judge especially when a prophet predicts something bad about the country. I believe him because I predicted this same issue late last year at an all-night session in my church.

“I think it will be in our interest if we take his predictions seriously and not lambast him for telling us what God has revealed to him. I don’t think he will just come out and prophesy when God has not revealed it to him and so GFA and the Black Stars should not joke with it” he said on Accra based Neat FM.

Prophet Gyebi, has shockingly predicted that Ghana’s senior national team the Black Stars will be involved in a fatal plane crash in September and the country’s legend Abedi Pele will also die this year.

He made this claim during his preaching on radio on Wednesday morning, claiming the looming calamity was revealed to him by God.

The pastor, nicknamed Eagle Prophet, says new Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah and other members of the Ghana Football Association must approach him to avert the looming national catastrophe through the plane crash.

The pastor, who became a household name after his prophecy on the Kintampo waterfalls disaster in Ghana came into fruition, said the Black Stars entire delegation will die in a fatal air crash in September.

The Black Stars are scheduled to travel to Congo in September for the return leg of their 2018 World Cup qualifier in Brazzaville.

Right after his prediction, some members of GFA have called the bluff of the prediction of the pastor daring him to provide the date of death of the three-time African Footballer of the Year award winner.

But Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah reacting to the issue said the scary prophecies could be avoided by fervent prayers backed by faith but they are unavoidable if nothing is done about them.

He noted that though many have labelled him a prophet of doom who only foresees tragedy, Owusu Bempah has said he will continue to make public what God tells him regardless of whether they are positive or negative.

“I know that prophet but it is important we pray and prevent this bad thing from happening because I know and believe what this man of God is saying” he stressed.

  1. If it is written that the players will die as the prophet says, how can he reverse what God has said through him?

I find it difficult to understand how he can reverse what he claims God has told him.

Every body has a lifespan that he should live. If you the prophet claim somebody is bound to die, how can you reverse it?

  2. God reveals to redeem.just like He added 10 more years to a prophet’s years after he prayed to God to change His decision.
